RG 1/144 No.036 RX-93-ν2 Hi-Nu Gundam

The RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam appears only in Tomino's novelisation Char's Counterattack: Beltorchika's Children (UC 0093). In the film, Amuro Ray pilots the standard Nu Gundam instead. The Hi-ν is the more advanced variant, with psycoframe throughout the entire frame (not just the cockpit), seven fin funnels instead of six, and larger overall proportions. Originally a design sheet only, it was popularised by Gundam Fix Figuration and later released as RE/100 and MG kits. Many collectors consider it the superior design.

The Hi-ν Gundam gets a brand-new RG model kit packed with details. It is equipped with a multi-link gimmick that slides the armour with its joints, so armour parts slide aside to expose the internal mechanical frame. Bold poses are possible by swinging the upper waist base up and down. The lumbar armour is equipped with a connection joint, and its new design means it won't hinder the movement of the legs. The legs feature a wider range of motion than before, and the arm beam gun is equipped with a gimmick that extends when the wrist is pushed down. The neckline parts are movable, and the backpack container is equipped with a gimmick that widens the fin funnel into a wing-like spread. The Advanced MS Joint maintains the shape of the fin funnel when shooting, and various weapons and interchangeable hands are included.
