The third release in the series is the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.

The theme of this release is the expression of radiance.

Mechanical Core Plating is used to pursue an even more brilliant and luminous finish.

This is the first Gunpla to use coloured plastic with Mechanical Core Plating.

The combination of coloured moulded parts and plated finishes creates a distinctive metallic appearance throughout the internal structure.

The model is based on the frame of the MGEX 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam.

This frame features the greatest number of linked frame articulation mechanisms ever used in the MG series. Selected sections have also been newly moulded specifically for the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.

The gold sections feature completely revised secondary finishes and moulded colours.

Multiple types of gold plating are used alongside Extra Finish parts and Real Metallic Gloss Injection, creating a rich range of different gold tones across the completed model.

The deployed Disruptor can be recreated using interchangeable parts.

Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne figures can be seated inside the cockpit.

A Lacus Clyne figure designed to ride on the Proud Defender is included.

A standing Lacus Clyne figure is also included.

The figure can be positioned on the chest of the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam to recreate the memorable scene from the film.
