The combat modified form of the D-Gundam First, the D-Gundam Second from the comic Double Fake Under the Gundam, makes its first ever HG appearance.

This kit thoroughly recreates the tuned thrusters and newly added combat armours with brand new parts. The internal frame and intricate details are faithfully reproduced across the entire suit, featuring numerous articulation axes for diverse poses. The arm mounted knuckle crushers can be deployed using new parts, and the thrusters feature an interlocking gimmick where the verniers push out when opened to recreate maximum operation mode.

A wide variety of weapons and utility tools are included, featuring the seven tools alongside new combat equipment. The newly sculpted connected beam rifle is equipped with a grenade launcher and can be connected to the backpack using the included lead wire. The shield is newly moulded for the D-Gundam Second and includes HG original gimmicks allowing the storage of the magnet anchor, rivet gun, large torimochi gun, and dummy rounds just like the D-Gundam First.
