Gundam Card Game Edition Beta [Japanese Ver.] (P-Bandai)

Be among the first to try out the “Gundam Card Game”, which is coming in 2025!

This product lets you test out the “Gundam Card Game” which is set to release in 2025, early. It lets you build a deck, choose from the included set of cards and those from the included packs, and start playing right away.

During the “BANDAI CARD GAMES Next Plan Presentation 2024.10” the Bandai Card Business Dept. announced a new trading card game called “GUNDAM Card Game” with a PV and opening an official website for it. This game will be released not only in Japan but worldwide so will be available in 3 languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. Also, it will be released in all three languages simultaneously under the BANDAI CARD GAMES brand.
In addition, in advance of the product’s release later in 2025 it was announced that there will be a product called “GUNDAM Card Game Edition Beta”.

- What is “GUNDAM Card Game”? -
The “GUNDAM Card Game” is a card game in which players use Mobile Suits and Pilots from the “Mobile Suit Gundam” Series in card battles.
Mobile Suits are seen on “Unit Cards”, the operators of these are seen on “Pilot Cards” while other things from the series such as battle ships and various characters are seen on “Base Cards” and “Command Cards”. A deck of 50 cards is made up of these four card types and used to battle another player. Pilots can be attached to Units to increase their power, and designated pairings, called “Linked Unit” can also be made and help you aim for victory.
Of course there are rules prepared for the standard 1 vs 1 play, but there will also be rules for other types of play like a “Team Battle” (2 vs 2) and “Battle Royale” (3 or more players, no teams).

“GUNDAM Card Game” will include the beautiful new illustrations of the Mobile Suits like previous Gundam trading card games, plus characters newly drawn by a variety of popular illustrators. This rich variation of art in the card lineup will help let this product express a new side to the Gundam series.

The upcoming “GUNDAM Card Game Edition Beta” product is a set that will let purchasers experience the “GUNDAM Card Game” early. With just this product the purchaser can start playing the game and still use it with the regular product being released later.
